Job Title: Permanent Jewelry Sales/Welder

Type of Position: W-2/Employee

Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/hr + tips during hands on training/probationary period. Fully trained rate up to $22/hr + tips. Training period is dependent on the employee's time committed to fully learn the skill and equipment. A fully trained person will be ready to take on their own events from setup to welding sales and breakdown.  

Schedule: Part Time/Variable Hours up to 25hrs/week. 

Location(s): Centennial and other occasional locations in/around Denver Metro Area

Job Description:

Becoming a permanent jewelry welder is more than just selling jewelry. The experience is incredibly rewarding as you help people celebrate their most meaningful moments together. At Peach Lane, we celebrate everything from birthdays, to new relationships, weddings and anniversaries. We celebrate just because and we celebrate love. Some moments are tender as people celebrate a beautiful life together while other moments help people heal from grief. You’ll be providing a memorable customer service experience in a fun and genuinly warm space. This position will primarily support out of office pop up’s such as markets, business to business collaborations and private parties but may also cover in-office appointment hours from time to time.

Essential job duties include:

  • Greeting customers and guests
  • Assist customers with making purchase selections
  • Fitting permanent jewelry within safe sizing parameters for customers comfort and lifestyle
  • Operating professional welding equipment in a safe manner both with and without supervision
  • Welding fine metal links with precision and accuracy
  • Accountability for quality control on each custom created item
  • Understand and explain differences in gold and silver metal choices
  • Complete customer purchases using a point of sale check out system
  • Providing a high level of customer service and care to all customers
  • Manage customer expectations
  • Collecting customer information
  • Sign up guests on email marketing lists
  • Collect policies and consent forms
  • Providing each customer with post-service care kits
  • Tidy up displays and work stations between customers
  • Prep in-office space for customers and/or close up for the day
  • Transport equipment, tools and displays to pop up locations
  • Setup and/or break down tents tables and equipment at public events for on-time event start
  • Securing all materials in a safe place, free from moisture and theft when not in use
  • Other clerical duties supporting in office services may be offered, assigned or requested as needed

 Minimum Requirements

  • Age 18 to operate welder and transport equipment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to see small fine details less than 1mm with or without assistive devices
  • Fine motor skills and dexterity to open and close very small metal rings and chain links
  • Safe, reliable transportation
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods
  • Cell Phone with Data/Wifi for Point of Sale
